Dr. Eric Benefield, DDS
A Proud Native of Grand Junction, CO
Dr. Eric Benefield was born and raised right here in Grand Junction, Colorado, and is a proud to be a native of the Grand Valley. Growing up on the Redlands, he has some fond memories from Scenic Elementary, Orchard Mesa Middle School, and Fruita Monument High School. Outdoor recreation is still right up his alley. Some of Dr. Eric Benefield’s favorite things to do include hiking, biking, hunting, fishing, golfing, and watching movies. He doesn’t know why golf is listed because his inconsistency drives him crazy, but he continues to enjoy trying to improve!
Education and Training
Dr. Eric Benefield completed his undergraduate studies at Utah Valley University. Then, when he was very blessed to be selected as one of the 140 dental students from a crowd of nearly 3,000 applicants at the University of the Pacific School in Dentistry in San Francisco, CA. In 2003, he graduated #1 in his class as valedictorian. Upon graduation, Dr. Eric Benefield served as a dentist in the U.S. Army for 3 years at Fort Polk, Louisiana.
